Support KHEN and Become a Member Today!
KHEN Community Radio is made possible from the support of contributing listeners, underwriting from local businesses, and donations from area foundations. More than half of funding coming from active members! KHEN receives no financial support from local or state governments. Members like you help make KHEN Community Radio possible.
Sustaining memberships can be started for as little as $5.00/month and funds are automatically withdrawn from your account. Sustaining memberships are SO IMPORTANT and make a huge difference for KHEN. Choose “monthly” on our donation page, and write in the amount you would like to contribute to become a sustaining member!

Donate Your Car
Do you have an older vehicle or one that doesn’t run anymore? Donating it skips the costs and hassles associated with towing and selling a vehicle. Stop paying for insurance, repairs, and registration on a vehicle that no longer serves your needs. Free up space at home and donate to a kHEN at the same time!
Vehicle donations are tax-deductible, and you could reduce your taxable income when taxes are itemized.
Estate Giving
Most people leave the bulk of their property through wills and/or living trusts. Both are simple to create, and kHEN would be honored to be named as an estate beneficiary.
In order to name a charity among the beneficiaries, the donor simply states:
The nonprofit's full legal name, location and EIN:
Tenderfoot Transmitting - Salida, CO (80-0027824)
The nature of the gift - for example, cash or property.
If the donor wishes, restrictions on what the organization can do with the gift.
It's even simpler for a donor to name a nonprofit organization as the beneficiary of property such as a bank account, life insurance policy, or retirement plan. The bank or other company will usually provide a form for the donor to use.
