The Arkansas Valley Art Center, in Buena Vista, held it’s 26th Annual Open Awards Show on Saturday, August 28. Featuring a judge’s critique from 10am to 12noon. The Buena Vista Whitewater Project is hosting a their first American Boulder Series competition September 11th at the 3 public climbing boulders in the Buena Vista Garden and South Main Town Square. The first and only outdoor stop on the American Bouldering Series competition circuit. Competitive rock climbers will go to Buena Vista to earn points in an effort to qualify for national level competitions like the National Championships and World Cup.
